Subterritorios.net es un proyecto de registro de información
y reflexión creado en 2010 por Carlos Gor. Desde Enero de 2015 se transforma en un THINK TANK impulsado
por GRX Arquitectos, (plataforma profesional formada por Álvaro Gor, Agustín Gor y Carlos Gor) un espacio donde aglutinar y compartir posicionamientos sobre las
cuestiones que consideramos son catalizadoras y transformadoras de la realidad
y el subconsciente colectivo, lugares desde los que surge la arquitectura.

a sighting and think project created in 2010 by Carlos Gor. It became the THINK TANK powered
by GRX Architects (professional platform founded by Álvaro Gor, Agustin Gor and Carlos Gor), a site where agglutinate and share positions about reality and catalysts of collective
subconscious, places where the architecture is created.

La arquitectura ha perdido su poder, para bien y para mal, a través del posfordismo. Esto ha llevado a que los arquitectos y sus arquitecturas sean herramientas de las élites politicoeconómicas, y su margen de intervención sobre el territorio sea puramente superficial. Pero existen casos, que al modo de la ingeniería inversa, busca estrategías para rediseñar los protocolos de producción y crear nuevos dispositivos transparentes.
La semiótica nos pierde. Los arquitectos diseñan sociedades con cada proyecto, pero la mayor parte de la arquitectura contemporánea está excesivamente influenciada por la construcción de lenguajes autorales. En esta sección se rastrean proyectos y procesos de diferentes creadores en los que la arquitecura no es un fin en sí mismo, sino parte fundamental de su visión del territorio.
Semiotics drives us crazy. Architects design societies in each project, but the biggest part of the contemporary architecture is excessively influenced by the construction of author languages. In this section we keep track of projects and processes of different authors in which architecture is not the main purpose, but a fundamental part of their vision of the territory.

Architecture has lost its power, for better or worse, through Post-Fordism. This has led architects and their architectures to become tools of the political and economical elites and their margin of intervention over the territory is merely superficial. But there are cases, likewise reverse engineering, that find strategies to re-design production protocols and create new transparent devices.
Agritectura. ¡Bajo el asfalto está la huerta!:
"Sous les pavés, la plage!" fue uno de los lemas del Mayo del 68. Parte de la reconversión de la ciudades pasa por solucionar lo que las hace funcionar aunque no forme parte de ellas. Crear sistemas híbridos entre ciudad y agricultura es fundamental para entender el futuro de los sistemas productivos.
"Sous les pavés, la plage!" was one of the mottos of May 68. Part of the re-conversion of the cities entails solving what makes them work although it is not part of them. Creating hybrid systems between city and agriculture is fundamental to understand the future of productive systems.

The great industrial scenery is a contemporary ruin remaining from the Fordist economies. This sub-archive simply intends to make a catalogue of these sceneries from the anonymous nature that they were generated with.
No todo entra dentro de un sistema de subarchivos si se busca comprender sistemas complejos.Con Sub_Follies se buscan aquellas historias o acontecimientos que atraviesan la subjetividad del territorio.
Not everything fits inside of a system of sub-archives when you are trying to understand complex systems. With Sub_Follies, we look for those stories or events that go through the subjectivity of territory.
El muro es la mínima expresión de la infraestructura, el último reducto en el que la arquitectura controla una civilización en guerra. Las fronteras no solo no han desaparecido, sino que actualmente están más en vigencia que en cualquier otro momento de la historia.
A wall is the minimum expression of the infrastructure, the last redoubt in which architecture controls a civilization in war. Frontiers have not only disappeared but they are nowadays more in force than in any other moment of history.
